Make use of our consultants’ business analysis skills to undertake IT
feasibility studies in diverse business areas. We explore the operational and
technical feasibility of alternate solutions, fully outlining the risks and
cost benefits of each. This process allows us to make and justify
recommendations as to the best way ahead for your company. We can also
help you measure and evaluate the business case for IT investment.

Requirements Analysis
Using our in house methodology (discoversuccess),
our consultants undertake requirements gathering for any type of software
project. With previous experience in a huge range of sectors from
logistics systems to medical research our approach is suited for all sizes of
project. Our Consultant facilitates a series of workshops and interviews
with your project team to identify and prioritise both functional and
non-functional requirements. The key deliverable is a comprehensive
Requirements Document against which accurate estimates can be prepared or which
can be used as part of a tender process if appropriate. More complex
solutions or environments may warrant development of a set of prototypes of the
key screens to help verify the requirements and avoid ambiguity, in which case
one of our experienced Developers would work alongside the Consultant.
Detailed Specification/Use Cases
After the Requirements Document is produced we can provide detailed Use Cases
that describe your proposed solution in much greater detail. Use Cases are used
to document how your users will interact with the new system and along with a
set of detailed prototypes of the solution can act as a technical specification
for the development team. As well as being an industry standard approach for
preparing detailed specifications Use Cases are also invaluable when it comes
to preparing software test plans.
